Although web design is everywhere nowadays (even when we’re not at the computer it still manages to squeeze it’s way in to our everyday life), print design is still a huge part of the design industry and is everywhere we look: newspapers, posters, prints, manuals, restaurant menus, business cards – the list goes on and on. So how do you make sure that you leave a good impression on people holding your piece of art in their hands? This is where experience and advanced print design skills come into play.

DELTAWire Rebrand

Posted August 31st, 2009 in Portfolio, logo by admin

DELTAwire Logo – Logo used to identify the blog by DELTA (Distance Education & Learning Technology Applications). The old logo was really bland and did not tie into the current parent brand, which our department wanted to establish a consistent theme. This logo pulls from the parent brand logo but incorporates a usb cord as a form of showing that the department is plugged in or technology friendly.

Other items were included with this project as a branding strategy include a information card, poster, website, and html email. I also worked closely with our copywriter to edit and condense the content for the website and other pieces.
